Check the filter type
Make sure your system uses a cylindrical quick-change cartridge with a quarter-turn locking connection. The AQUENTO 51300c should be installed vertically in the existing filter head.
This guide explains how to remove the old cartridge, install the new AQUENTO 51300c, flush it correctly, and keep the system working smoothly.
Make sure your system uses a cylindrical quick-change cartridge with a quarter-turn locking connection. The AQUENTO 51300c should be installed vertically in the existing filter head.
Turn off the water supply first. If the filter feeds a chilled or powered unit, unplug it, then dispense water to relieve pressure before removing the old cartridge.
Rotate the used cartridge counterclockwise until it unlocks, then pull it straight down.
Unpack the AQUENTO 51300c, remove the protective cap, and inspect the O-rings for damage or debris.
Align the tabs with the filter head, push the cartridge upward, and rotate clockwise until fully locked.
Slowly restore water flow and carefully check around the connection for any leaks.
New carbon filters can release trapped air and fine carbon particles during first use. A full flush improves taste, stabilizes flow, and clears the cartridge after installation.
